Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage maintenance teams at glass processing units in Bangalore and Kerala.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and machine breakdowns.
- Ensure optimal functioning of machinery by scheduling regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with technicians for effective resolution.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and safety practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, and generate reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Maintenance Manager in an industrial or manufacturing setup, preferably glass processing or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and manage teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel between units in Bangalore and Kerala.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
