Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage maintenance teams at glass processing units in Bangalore and Kerala.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and machine breakdowns.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of machinery by scheduling regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with technicians for effective resolution.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, and generate reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Maintenance Manager in an industrial or manufacturing setup, preferably glass processing or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel between units in Bangalore and Kerala.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
